임플란트를 안정적으로 식립하기 위해서는 주변에 충분한 잇몸뼈의 양이 필요합니다. 그러나 치주병 등으로 발치한 경우, 잇몸뼈가 소실되는 경우가 흔히 발생합니다.

시술방법 | 뼈의 결손부에 뼈세포 이외의 세포가 들어오지 못하도록 차단하여 뼈세포만 증식될 수 있도록 하는 시술 |
이식재 종류 | 별도의 골 이식재 필요 없음 |
원리 | 뼈가 자랄 공간 확보 후 다른 세포의 방해 없이 뼈가 자라는 원리 |
발치 후 시간이 경과하면 뼈가 흡수되어 안정된 형태를 형성하게 되며, 이로 인해 뼈가 얇아지거나 낮아질 수 있습니다. 만약 뼈가 부족한 경우에는 임플란트 식립을 위해 인공뼈나 자가골을 이용한 ‘골유도재생술’을 시행합니다.

염증이 진행되면 임플란트를 지지하는 뼈가 소실되고, 임플란트가 흔들리거나 탈락할 수 있습니다.
